Job Summary
The HH Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with the patient’s plan, including comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluation, condition monitoring, health promotion, service coordination, and direct nursing care. Key responsibilities include performing OASIS assessments, developing and implementing nursing care plans, supervising Home Health Aides, and maintaining communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to access patients' homes, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensed in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification (online certification is not accepted)
- Criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in community/home health agency or in a hospital setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
- Working knowledge of home healthcare and principles and techniques of professional nursing
- Organizational skills and knowledge of time management processes
- Ability to contribute to quality of care through communication with nursing managers and staff
