Job Summary

ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) responsible for completing patient assessments and evaluations for assistive equipment, often in coordination with a physician or therapist. Performs home assessments, complex fittings, and maintains required documentation. Provides enabling technology in wheeled mobility, seating and alternative positioning, ambulation assistance, environmental control, augmented communication, and activities of daily living. May oversee or assist equipment technicians and internal staff for custom equipment. Onsite at Fort Worth campus and patient in-home visits; schedule includes Monday–Friday, 8a–5p with 40 hours/week. Requires load/unload/setup/demonstrate of equipment, excellent communication, knowledge of regulatory environment, ability to work independently, and CPR within 30 days of employment if not current.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 2 years of DME equipment experience
  • Current RESNA (ATP) certification recognized in the state of Texas
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of employment, if not currently CPR certified
