Job Summary
Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers. Conduct safety inspections to prepare vehicles for MOT and maintain detailed electronic records of all work carried out. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery while ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with industry standards. This shift-based role involves a weekly rotating Monday to Friday pattern, including alternate Saturday mornings at an enhanced pay rate. The client is a leading commercial vehicle service provider in the North-West, specializing in ABS and EBS braking systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or equivalent qualifications
- Strong HGV Mechanical Knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prepared to work alternate Saturday mornings at an enhanced pay rate
