Job Summary
Perform major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles while conducting regular inspections, preventive maintenance services, and oil changes. Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness, collaborate with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs, and provide emergency roadside services. Complete relevant documentation, manage warranty claims, and ensure all work complies with DVSA Standards. Work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday shifts, utilizing BPW and LOLER training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance
- Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards
- Current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes
- Satisfactory completion of a DBS check
