Job Summary
HGV Technician in Belfast responsible for hands-on inspection, servicing and repair of vehicles, trailers and related equipment in a workshop setting. Role involves maintaining and repairing to meet company and VOSA standards, following established safety and maintenance procedures, and achieving shift KPIs. Requires strong diagnostic knowledge for vehicle systems (electrical, tail lifts, and specific brands like Daf/Iveco), welding/fabrication experience, and a valid full driving license. Collaboration with VMU Co-ordinator/FLM and coordination with Transport and Logistics to ensure vehicle availability; willingness to work a rotation pattern and utilize subcontractors as needed.
