Job Summary
Place trailers to required areas as instructed and ensure safe, efficient loading and unloading. Use two-way radios to maintain contact with operational teams and report defects, accident damage, or incidents immediately. Verify fridge temperatures and diesel fuel levels, maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards, and monitor vehicle parking layouts for debris. Report speed limit breaches to the transport department and adhere to all Health & Safety legislation. Work the 4 on 4 off nights (18:00–06:00) at the Aylesford depot for £41,725.38, requiring previous HGV driving and shunting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a HGV driving role
- Previous shunting experience
- Experience of working in a very fast paced environment
- Teamworking
- Written and verbal communication
- Driving for excellence
- Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment
- Self disciplined and motivated
- Must be able to work 4 on 4 off Nights (18.00 - 06.00)
