Job Summary
Operate curtainsider vehicles for general haulage across commercial and residential deliveries, ensuring all loads are completed safely and on time. Assist with offloading where required, utilizing pallet trucks and tail lifts as needed, with vehicles pre-loaded upon arrival. Manage nationwide collections and deliveries while maintaining strict adherence to driver hours and regulations. Shift patterns include day work and optional nights out or tramping, with start times available from 03:00 onwards. Full-time and part-time roles are available, tailored to driver availability. Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence with minimum one year experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT C) licence
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
- Valid CPC and Digi Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
