HGV Driver

Job Summary
Safely operate HGV vehicles in accordance with Road Traffic legislation and company procedures, transporting construction and access equipment between depots and customer sites throughout Dublin and Leinster. Load, secure, and unload equipment efficiently while completing daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects immediately. Maintain accurate transport documentation, delivery records, and vehicle check sheets, ensuring compliance with Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations. Assist site personnel during deliveries and collections, maintaining excellent customer relationships and adhering to all Health & Safety procedures. Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and presentable at all times. Requires a Full Clean Category CE Driving Licence, valid Driver CPC, and minimum 2 years' professional HGV experience. Applicants must have valid work permit rights in Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- Full Clean Category CE Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years' professional HGV driving experience
- Good geographical knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Good communication skills and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
- Valid work permit or rights to work in Ireland

- Experience delivering construction, scaffolding, plant or industrial materials
- HIAB / Lorry Loader certificate
- Construction site delivery experience
- Safe Pass certification
- Manual handling training
