Job Summary
Collect WEEE waste from commercial, industrial, and residential sites nationwide using company vehicles, adhering to planned routes and schedules. Perform daily vehicle inspections, safely load and unload waste using appropriate equipment, and segregate materials to comply with recycling regulations. Maintain high health and safety standards, complete required paperwork including transfer notes and logbooks, and interact professionally with customers at collection points. Monitor operational issues and report vehicle defects or route challenges to the operations team. This full-time role in Perth includes 41.15 hours per week with regular exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Required Qualifications
- Full Class 1 and 2 driving licence
- Valid DCPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph
- Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
- Willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work overtime or weekends as required
- Good physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy loads
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
