Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries using a modern, well-maintained fleet with fully funded CPC renewals. Manage trailer swaps, oversee live loading and unloading, and utilize GPS and digital tachographs to ensure route compliance. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, prioritize safe driving in all conditions, and maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country. Work Monday to Friday in a 20:31 to 05:30 shift pattern within the national transport department.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Resourceful problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to hit deadlines
- Ability to deliver great service
