Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers using a modern, well-maintained fleet equipped with GPS and digital tachographs. Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving while maintaining strict compliance and conducting thorough vehicle inspections. Prioritize safe driving in all conditions and maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country. Work Monday to Friday in a 40-hour permanent contract, rotating between late afternoon and early morning shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to hit deadlines
- Must be able to deliver great service
- Must be available for Monday to Friday shifts
- Must be available for shifts between 15:30 and 03:15
- Must be available for shifts between 15:30 and 04:00
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
