Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries between DPD sites and major customers, prioritizing HGV-friendly locations. Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading while maintaining 100% compliance using GPS and digital tachographs. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, perform safe driving in all conditions, and maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers. Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet with fully funded CPC renewals. Work Monday to Friday shifts from 15:30 to 03:00, earning £16.35 per hour plus night rate premiums. Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
