Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries between DPD sites and major customers, focusing on HGV-friendly locations. Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving while using GPS and digital tachographs to ensure route compliance. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritize safe driving in all conditions, maintaining professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country. Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet with fully funded CPC renewals, utilizing the latest logistics tools. Work Sunday to Thursday in rotating shifts, with a permanent contract of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Resourceful problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to hit deadlines
- Ability to deliver great service

- Availability for Sunday to Thursday shifts
- Availability for Sunday 16:00 - 03:45 shifts
