Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries using a modern fleet with fully funded CPC renewals. Manage trailer swaps, oversee live loading/unloading, and utilize GPS and digital tachographs to maintain route compliance. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, prioritize safe driving in all conditions, and maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the UK. Drive a Class 1 vehicle for 40 hours per week on a rotating night shift pattern from 18:15 to early morning, with potential minor adjustments to the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
