Job Summary
Execute nationwide bulk collections and deliveries using a modern, well-maintained fleet with fully funded CPC renewals. Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading while utilizing GPS and digital tachographs to ensure 100% compliance. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, prioritize safe driving in all conditions, and maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country. Work a permanent 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, typically shifting between 14:00 and 03:30, earning £16.35 per hour plus night rate premiums. Join a key player in the national transport department focused on tech-driven logistics and sustainable delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
- Safety-first mindset
- Resourceful problem-solver
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to hit deadlines
