Job Summary
Drive 15-18 tonne HGV vehicles in a secure airside environment, delivering catering supplies to aircraft while conducting pre-use safety checks and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Load and unload catering supplies, liaise with flight crews and ground handling teams, and adhere to Road Traffic Acts and Airport By-laws. Perform warehouse duties including bar and stores packing, search, sealing, and associated paperwork. Operate on a flexible 4 on 4 off shift pattern with 12-hour shifts starting between 6am-9am and finishing between 6pm-9pm. Require a valid HGV Category C licence, Driver CPC qualification, and digital tachograph card.
Required Qualifications
- Valid HGV Category C Driving Licence (up to 6 points will be considered)
- Digital Tachograph Card and knowledge of tachograph usage
- Driver CPC qualification (essential)
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
- Full flexibility to work 12-hour shifts with varying start/finish times (6am-9am starts / 6pm-9pm finishes)
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Right to work in the UK
- Pass a CRC (Criminal Record Check)
- Provide 5 years of checkable reference history
- Provide an overseas CRC for any time spent outside the UK exceeding 6 months
Desired Qualifications
- Previous HGV driving experience
- Airport airside driving experience (highly advantageous)
- Experience in catering or hospitality roles
