Job Summary
Deliver and collect parcels to and from locations and customer sites while complying with Driver Hours and Road Transport Directive legislation. Carry out necessary pre and post-shift vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe and legal, then load safely within legislation. Provide feedback to the office regarding loading, unloading, or delays, and use electronic P.O.D and up-to-date technology for all transactions. Assist with loading and unloading operations, ensuring all deliveries reach customers safely, efficiently, and on time. Complete daily vehicle checks and adhere to WTD regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A full UK C+E licence
- 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
- Excellent driving skills
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)
- 'Right To Work' in the UK
- Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
