Job Summary
Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely between the airport consolidation centre and operational locations while loading and unloading goods. Transport stock, collect and deliver items, and check deliveries against manifests to report shortages or damage. Complete daily vehicle checks, transport documentation, and maintain communication with the warehouse team while adhering to drivers' hours, tachograph regulations, and health and safety procedures. This hands-on role requires a valid UK Class 2 licence, CPC qualification, and at least one year of professional driving experience. Immediate starts are available subject to screening and a full 5-year checkable employment history.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of spoken and written English
- At least one year's professional HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Reliable and professional approach with pride in delivering a high standard of work
- Ability to provide a full 5-year checkable employment and/or education history to obtain an airside pass
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drugs and alcohol testing
- Flexibility as shift times may vary to meet operational requirements
