HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer - Patching and Lining

Job Summary
Repair and maintain drainage systems by installing patch liners for first-time-fix sewer repairs and using the Picote system to remove scale, roots, and obstructions. Survey the network to assess pip conditions, record job reports on specialist equipment, and liaise with the client regarding progress. Conduct thorough inspections of tools and plant, dynamically risk assess site access, and maintain safe site setups while working unsupervised in all weather conditions. Travel to residential sites in a two-person team, ensuring vehicle stock is replenished and complying with all health and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Certificate of professional competence (CPC)
- Up to date digi tachograph card
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to deliver customer service
- Ability to work unsupervised in all weather conditions
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant
- Ability to carry out risk assessments
- Mature approach to risk perception
- Ability to comply with health and safety standards
- Ability to liaise with the client regarding progress and any updates
- Ability to utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms
- Ability to work in a two person team
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and participate in an on-call rota
- Ability to deliver only the best in customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment
- Confined Space Entry training (AP2)
- Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and OS19X)
