Job Summary
Conduct bulk deliveries and collections in semi, DD, or 18-tonne vehicles, delivering and collecting loaded pallets of parcels between the depot and customers. Operate Class 1 licensed vehicles while adhering to WTD legislation and maintaining a safety-first mindset. Perform back-and-forth transport duties across five shifts per week, with start times between 8 am and 10 am, at a rate of £15.36 per hour PAYE. Candidates must hold a valid UK Class 1 licence, DCPC, and digital tachograph card, with at least six months of experience and no more than six penalty points on their record.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E)
- Valid and up-to-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
- 6 months minimum experience
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
- Full understanding of WTD legislation
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position
- Excellent communication skills
- A safety-first mindset
