Job Summary
Deliver goods to stores and regional distribution centres using single and double deck trailers while adhering to Driver Hours and Transport Legislation. Perform vehicle safety checks, complete delivery paperwork, and report defects correctly to maintain high standards of safety and customer service. Comply with on-site health and safety requirements and hold a valid C+E licence with current DCPC and Tacho cards. Work day and night shifts starting between 06:00 and 22:00, earning up to £18.65 per hour with a £5 daily meal allowance. New Pass Drivers are welcome, and the role offers career development opportunities within the Culina Group.
Required Qualifications
- Valid C+E Licence
- Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points
- No DD/DR Code convictions
- Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
- Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety
- Able to report defects correctly
- Comply with on-site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
