Job Summary
Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Support loaders when stationary, plan routes, and manage time-critical schedules while completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and legal driving hours, providing excellent customer service on every job. Requires at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 experience, a valid C licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card. Full-time role with 48-hour weeks plus overtime, competitive salary, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 12 months' experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
- A valid HGV (C) licence
- CPC card
- Digital Tachograph card
- ADR licence
- Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Confidence working in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
