Job Summary
Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises, including palletised general haulage to Regional Distribution Centres via backdoor tip and occasional multi-drop routes. Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift, communicate delays or load discrepancies, and complete daily vehicle checks while managing tachograph rules. Ensure all paperwork is accurate, including signed PODs, and maintain high standards of behaviour and customer service. Work the 4 on 4 off day shift pattern with flexible start times between early morning and late morning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid C+E Licence
- Current valid DCPC and Tachograph cards
- Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Directive legislation
- Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly
- Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience
