Job Summary
The HFM Supervisor role oversees up to 5 home visitors, conducts weekly reflective supervision, ensures accurate documentation and adherence to the HFM model, manages referrals and intakes, maintains partner communications, supports program outreach and team development, assists in recruitment/training of new staff, participates in provider and collateral meetings, and conducts QA activities with exploration of responsibilities and compliance across family services in a Boston-based program serving families in Massachusetts.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families, or bachelor's degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience, or less than a bachelor's degree but with commensurate HFA experience
- Experience supervising diverse staff with humility and supporting staff in stressful environments
- Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment
- Experience with family services that embraces family-centered and strength-based service provision
- Knowledge of parent-infant health and dynamics of child abuse and neglect
- Experience supporting culturally diverse communities/families
- Experience in home visiting with a strong background in early childhood prevention services
- Willingness to engage in reflective practice
- Spanish speaking preferred
