Job Summary
Inspect, assess, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair RF communications equipment and facilities supporting the Defence High Frequency Communications System; contribute to sustaining the existing system and the upgrade (Enhanced DHFCS); produce technical documentation under guidance; operate in a secure environment with high integrity, meeting HSE and Trade Controls requirements, while aligning with Babcock principles and delivering reliable technical outcomes within time, quality and cost constraints.
Required Qualifications
- relevant technical vocational qualification or certificate
- electrical trade certification or unrestricted electrical licence
- Australian Government NV1 security clearance
- no restrictions regarding access to FOUO or ITAR-controlled material
- current driver’s licence
- Construction Induction Card
