Job Summary
Math tutor for elementary students (K-5) in a Washington DC school district during school hours. Lead small groups with curriculum and materials, prepare tutoring space, track attendance, document student progress in HeyTutor Dashboard, and assist with baseline and summative assessments when requested. Create an engaging, inclusive learning environment, support positive behavior choices, and collaborate with school staff. Schedule is 20 hours/week, 9:30–3:00, Monday–Thursday. Requirements include an AA or higher (or current enrollment in college), tutoring experience with kids, classroom comfort, and a clear FBI-DOJ background check.
