Job Summary
Tutor elementary through middle-school students after school hours in collaboration with a school district partner. Responsibilities include leading small groups, using provided curriculum, preparing tutoring areas, taking attendance, documenting progress in the HeyTutor Dashboard, facilitating baseline/summative assessments when requested, engaging students, promoting positive behavior, and clocking shifts in Deputy. Requires AA or higher (or current enrollment), classroom experience, clear background check, and Spanish fluency. In-person role with 20 hours/week scheduled Monday through Friday; pay $18-$22/hour; benefits include attendance-based incentives and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed an AA or higher, or be currently enrolled in college/university
- Tutoring experience (great at working with kids)
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us)
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Spanish fluency required
