HES Title I Teacher (Up to 60 Days) K-5

Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, research-based instruction that addresses Kentucky's learning goals for K-5 students. Supervise students, instructional assistants, and volunteers while implementing the curriculum and maintaining a learning climate that supports student outcomes. Evaluate teaching situations through anecdotal records, conferences, and portfolios to communicate progress to students and staff. Assist in administering standardized tests, developing classroom behavior rules, and utilizing Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Cooperate with professional staff to assess and address student health, attitude, and learning problems. Maintain accurate records, adhere to the professional code of ethics, and utilize technology as appropriate. Maintain regular attendance and participate in staff meetings, committees, and professional development.
