Herbicide Applicator Technician

Spray right aways, roadsides, remove weeds, trim, and cut grass and brush using a spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer, or hose. Complete all DOT required truck inspections by identifying and troubleshooting system issues or repairs. Maintain truck and equipment cleanliness and organization. Calibrate all spray equipment and understand weed, grass, and brush types, methods, chemicals, and safety requirements to meet customer expectations. Hold a valid driver's license with a five-year clean motor vehicle record and be 21 years or older. Travel away from home for up to two weeks at a time with hotel and per-diem provided. Obtain a Category C6 Commercial Pesticide Applicator license within the first 90 days of employment.
