Job Summary
Spray right aways, roadsides, remove weeds, trim, and cut grass and brush using a spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer, or hose. Complete all DOT required truck inspections, identify and troubleshoot system issues, and keep all equipment clean and organized. Calibrate spray equipment and apply herbicides while maintaining knowledge of weed types, chemical methods, and safety requirements to meet customer expectations. Must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license with a five-year clean MVR, and be able to travel away from home for up to four to six weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 21+ years of age or older
- A valid driver's license
- 5 years clean (MVR) motor vehicle record
- Must be able to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time
- Must successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Herbicide application experience
- Commercial Pesticide Applicators: Category C6
- Agricultural, landscaping, or related industry experience
