Herbicide Applicator Technician

Spray right aways, roadsides, remove weeds, trim, and cut grass and brush using a spray truck, ATV, backpack sprayer, or hose. Complete all DOT required truck inspections, identify and troubleshoot system issues, and ensure all equipment remains clean and organized. Calibrate spray equipment and apply herbicides while maintaining knowledge of weed types, chemical methods, and safety requirements to meet customer expectations. This role requires a valid driver's license with a five-year clean motor vehicle record, DOT drug screen, and physical. Travel away from home for up to two weeks is required, with hotel and per-diem provided. A Category C6 Commercial Pesticide Applicator license is preferred and must be obtained within 90 days.
