Job Summary
Outpatient hepatology role within a 5-GI-physician team at Thayer Center for Health, Waterville, ME. Provide expert diagnosis, management, and treatment of liver diseases (hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, fatty liver disease, liver failure), interpret imaging and lab results, and educate patients on disease management and preventive liver health. No on-call, no weekend/holiday hours, with a predictable schedule of 36 clinical hours per week plus 4 administrative hours. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO in Medicine
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Gastroenterology with hepatology focus
- Certification or eligibility for ABMS specialties relevant to hepatology
- Ability to obtain/maintain medical license in Maine
- H1B visa sponsorship acceptable for international candidates
