Job Summary
Engage in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals and health care decision makers to translate insights into meaningful strategies. Plan and execute medical engagement for assigned customers while delivering presentations to formulary committees and communicating health economic models. Serve as the primary resource for unsolicited medical inquiries, gathering and documenting field-generated scientific insights to drive innovative Medical Affairs strategies. Maintain a deep knowledge base through continuous learning of scientific literature and collaborate with field and commercial colleagues to share medical expertise. This role requires an MD, PhD, or PharmD with 2+ years of MSL experience and involves up to 60% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- Possess a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- MD, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, or equivalent degree
- Clinical or related practical experiences in GI/Liver
- Experience in Managed Care/PBM, HEOR activities, or strong knowledge of P&T committee processes
