Job Summary
Welcome and serve guests promptly with exceptional, attentive cocktail service and food orders, managing beverage and menu offerings while complying with state and federal age requirements. Prepare drinks for cocktail service orders, operate bar equipment, and maintain a safe, clean environment by ensuring the bar and its equipment are fully functional. Diffuse difficult situations with discretion and professionalism, accurately count cash, and process transactions using company systems. Work a varied schedule including late nights, holidays, and weekends, lifting up to 35 pounds. This full-time role averages over 30 hours per week at Henrietta's Table within The Charles Hotel.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English, verbally, writing and reading
- The ability to work a varied schedule including late nights, holidays and weekends
- The ability to accurately count cash and efficiently process transactions using company systems
- The ability to operate bar equipment
- Awareness of and compliance with all liquor laws, Charles Hotel guidelines, policies and procedures
- The ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- One-year bartending experience in a high-end establishment
