Job Summary
To assist nurses with patient and non-patient care, maintain hemodialysis machinery, perform maintenance and testing of water sources, and ensure compliance with AAMI standards. Responsibilities include nurse-assist duties, accucheck tests, vital signs, patient transfers, inventory control, cleaning and disinfection of RO machines and portable dialysis machines, staff education on troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of dialysis equipment across Christiana and Wilmington Hospitals. Requires high school diploma or GED, completion of Certified Dialysis Technician program within 18 months, and 3–5 years dialysis experience; positions are based on 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday commitments, and involve working at multiple hospital locations in Delaware.
Required Qualifications

- Graduated from Certified Dialysis Technician program or complete this program within 18 months of hire
- Minimum five years patient care experience
- Three to five years of dialysis experience
