Hemodialysis Clinical Nurse (Nights)

Job Summary
Provides direct patient care activities in a dialysis inpatient unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards. Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care needs, administers medications, and ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance. Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and family/caregiver. Applies critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and communicates plans of care across the continuum. This 12-hour night shift unit operates with 1-2 on-call shifts per week and every 3rd Saturday, with some Sunday call; the role emphasizes professional development and career ladder advancement.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Experience in dialysis settings preferred (Peritoneal Dialysis experience preferred)
