Job Summary
Assists with prime, breakdown, cleaning, disinfection, and quality checks of extracorporeal hemodialysis systems under direct RN supervision. Prepares patients for hemodialysis treatment by managing pre- and post-treatment transportation, vital signs, weight, blood glucose, and telemetry lead application. Delivers equipment and supplies to patient rooms on schedule while performing inventory, ordering, and restocking. Maintains hemodialysis standards of care, ensures compliance with departmental policies, and upholds patient confidentiality. Requires one year of healthcare experience with six months in an inpatient setting and BLS certification. Shift runs 7a-7:30p.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year previous health care experience
- 6 months in an inpatient setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
