Job Summary
Hematopathology physician needed to join Albany Medical College's Division of Hematopathology. The seventh AP/CP board-certified, hematopathology fellowship-trained pathologist will perform sign-out for bone marrow, tissue, and blood/CSF on a rotating basis, participate in shared hematopathology call, and contribute to academic activities including sign-out with fellows, residents, and students, didactic lectures, unknown slide conferences, and supervision of residents. Translational research opportunities are available and encouraged. The department emphasizes mentorship, wellness, leave policies, and work-life balance. A base salary range of $224,000-$336,500 plus a sign-on bonus and quarterly incentive component, comprehensive benefits including pension and life/disability insurance, and H1B visa sponsorship are provided.
Required Qualifications

- fellowship-trained in Hematopathology
- AP/CP board certification
- medical degree (MD/DO)
- eligible for medical licensure in New York
