Job Summary
Seventh AP/CP board-certified, hematopathology fellowship-trained pathologist sought to join the Albany Medical College division. Responsibilities include hematopathology sign-out for bone marrow, tissue, and blood/CSF on a rotating basis, shared hematopathology call, and potential additional interest in a second area. Academic activities include 1-on-1 and group sign-out with trainees, didactic lectures, slide conferences, and supervision of residents’ and students’ presentations. Translational research opportunities are available and encouraged. The department emphasizes mentorship, wellness, and work-life balance, with generous leave policies and professional development time. Base salary ranges from $224,000 to $336,500, with a sign-on bonus and quarterly incentive component; comprehensive benefits include pension and life/disability insurance.
