Job Summary

Provide hematology/oncology care for veterans at the VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, delivering consultations and developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform chemotherapy and hematology/oncology procedures (e.g., bone marrow aspiration/biopsy), participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and collaborate across disciplines, engage in research and clinical trials, and contribute to education by training residents, fellows, and medical students rotating through the VA. Drive quality improvement, coordinate care with mental health and ancillary services, and support a patient-centered, team-based approach within a state-of-the-art facility.
