Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology Physician at the VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA. Responsibilities include performing consultations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing follow-up care for hematology/oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- US medical license
- Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Ability to perform chemotherapy regimens, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards
- Engagement in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students
- Ability to conduct and participate in research and clinical trials
- Compliance with VA policies and procedures regarding conduct, time and attendance, and scheduling
