Job Summary
Provide per diem hematology and oncology care within our Commission on Cancer Accredited program across outpatient and inpatient settings. Utilize the co-located Solari Infusion Center with 15 private bays for modern treatment delivery. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, potentially participating in daily rounds for the 17-bed inpatient oncology unit as needed, and partner with navigators and social workers to ensure a seamless patient journey from diagnosis through survivorship. This role offers the flexibility of a PRN position at Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican in Santa Cruz, CA. We offer a competitive rate of $2,370 per 8-hour shift for this non-benefited status.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
- Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
