Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with a wide variety of hematology and oncology diseases. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including local and regional cancer care specialists, to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families. Offer guidance regarding educational resources and community services while participating in multi-disciplinary cancer conferences and collaborative group clinical trials. Stay current with research and best practices in both Hematology and Oncology to provide evidence-based care.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree
- Completion of ACGME Residency and Fellowship Training Programs
- Interest in Benign and Malignant Hematology
- Active Washington State Medical License and DEA in good standing prior to start date
- Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Eligible for medical staff privileges at VMMC
