Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant

Job Summary
Manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies through outpatient oncology and hematology care, including evaluation, treatment, and chemotherapy or immunotherapy administration. Collaborate with hematologists, oncologists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans, follow-up, and inpatient collaboration as clinically indicated. Document all encounters accurately within Epic EMR while ensuring compliance with facility policies and quality standards. This 13-week, part-time assignment in New Ulm, MN requires active Minnesota licensure and covers Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call.
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota License
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Hospital Privileges
- Fingerprinting
- Credentialing
- DEA (As Required by Facility)
- Certifications (As Required by Facility)
- Outpatient Hematology and Oncology Patient Management
- Evaluation and Treatment of Solid Tumor and Hematologic Conditions
- Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Management
- Oncology Supportive Care Services
- Coordination of Multidisciplinary Cancer Care
- Manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
- Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care
- Collaborate with hematologist/oncologists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and follow-up care
- Document all encounters accurately within Epic EMR
- Participate in inpatient collaboration as clinically indicated
- Support continuity of care through coordination with infusion, research, navigation, and support services
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and quality standards
