Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology physician opportunity with Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Ontario, OR. Full-time position with a four-day work week and 32 patient contact hours, 1:9 call, and outreach to Baker City, OR. Responsibilities include joining a multidisciplinary team, working with hematology/oncology physicians, and participating in tumor boards and cancer-care initiatives across a comprehensive cancer program. Requirements include MD or DO, completed ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship, board certification in Internal Medicine and Hematology Oncology (or ability to obtain within 3 years), and Oregon/Idaho medical licensure with privileges at SAMC Ontario, SAMC Baker City, and affiliated hospitals. Recruitment package includes sign-on, relocation, student loan repayment, PTO & CME, malpractice tail coverage, retirement options, and PSLF eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency
- Hematology Oncology fellowship
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Hematology Oncology or obtain within three years
- Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SAMCOntario, SAMC Baker City and other hospitals as needed
- DEA registration
