Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology physician sought to join Saint Alphonsus Medical Group and the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute in Ontario, Oregon. The role is a full-time position with a 4-day work week (32 patient contact hours), 1:9 call, and includes hospitalist coverage evenings. The physician will work alongside a robust hematology/oncology team, participate in weekly tumor boards, and contribute to an integrated program with surgical oncology and supportive services. Outpatient work in Ontario three days per week and outreach in Baker City one day per week. Requirements include MD/DO, completion of an ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship, and Board Certification (or within three years). Licensure in Oregon and Idaho, with privileges at SAMC - Ontario, SAMC - Baker City, and affiliated hospitals, and DEA registration are required. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency completion
- Hematology Oncology fellowship completion
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Hematology Oncology or certification within three years of employment
- Oregon medical licensure and privileges at SAMC - Ontario, SAMC - Baker City
- DEA and controlled substances registration
