Job Summary
Hematology/Oncology physician opportunity at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group/Cancer Institute in Ontario, OR. Full-time employment for a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician to join a multidisciplinary oncology program with integrated medical, radiation, and surgical oncology. Responsibilities include collaborating with a team of hematology/oncology physicians, participating in weekly tumor boards, and contributing to innovative programs and clinical trials. Schedule features a 4-day work week with 32 patient contact hours, call 1:9 (evenings and weekends), hospitalist coverage M-F 8-5. The role involves outreach in Baker City, OR (1 hour from Ontario) and on-site work in Ontario three days per week, with one outreach day. Requires MD/DO, completed IM residency, hematology-oncology fellowship, and licenses to practice in Oregon and Idaho; relocation and robust benefits package including sign-on incentives, loan repayment, and PSLF-eligible site. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency completion
- Hematology Oncology fellowship
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Board Certification in Hematology Oncology or the ability to obtain within three years of employment
- Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC - Ontario, SAMC - Baker City and other affiliated hospitals as needed
- DEA registration and controlled substance registration
