Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join Saint Alphonsus Medical Group at the Ontario, Oregon site. Work with a multidisciplinary team in a full-time role within a leading cancer program that includes medical, radiation, and surgical oncology, nurse navigators, genetics counseling, and a dedicated inpatient oncology unit. Responsibilities include providing patient care across hematology and oncology services, participating in weekly tumor boards, and engaging in outreach to Baker City with a 4-day work week (32 patient contact hours) and a 1:9 call schedule. Eligible candidates will have an MD or DO, completed IM residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship with board certification (or be board-eligible and complete certification within three years), and must obtain OR and ID medical licensure with hospital privileges and DEA registration. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology Oncology fellowship
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, as well as Hematology Oncology - or obtain such certification within three years of employment
- Obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC - Ontario, SAMC - Baker City and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
