Job Summary
Provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site in Providence, Rhode Island, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Manage 12 to 20 patient encounters daily, with a ramp-up period toward a target of 20 patients per day. Conduct typical 45-minute consult appointments and 15-minute follow-ups, utilizing paper charting and an EMR system supported by a Dragon dictation tool. This assignment includes no call coverage for the Advanced Practice Provider, with a 1:1 call ratio for the clinical team.
