Job Summary
Oncologist needed at UP Health System in Marquette, MI within Lifepoint Health. 5-provider group with 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient practice, ~18-25 patients daily, 1:3 call, EMR-based operations, robust support including a genetic counselor and research team. Office hours typically 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday; affiliation with strong tertiary and accreditation-backed program (ACOS CoC, NAPBC, ACR ROPA). Responsibilities include outpatient/inpatient oncology care, coordination with a multidisciplinary team, tumor board participation, and involvement in survivorship and research activities. Compensation package may include base salary with RVU bonus, sign-on, relocation assistance, PTO, retirement plan, loan repayment options, CME allowance, and malpractice coverage. Located in Marquette, Michigan, with an emphasis on community-based care within Lifepoint Health.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-certified in Hematology/Oncology (oncology physician) or equivalent
- eligible for medical licensure in Michigan
- experience in outpatient and inpatient oncology settings preferred
